Getting started

Cliporium turns one long video into several short, vertical clips - framed, captioned, and ready to post. This page is the shortest path from a fresh account to your first clips.

The shortest path to a clip

Create an account with your email and a password, then confirm the link Cliporium emails you. Confirming gets you 10 free credits - no card needed - which is enough to try clipping a video before you decide whether to pay for anything.

From your dashboard:

  1. Upload an MP4 (up to 2GB), or paste a link to a video you have the rights to. See Uploading a video.
  2. Pick a clip mode. General is picked by default and suits most long-form video: vlogs, talking to camera, day-in-the-life content.
  3. Choose whether you want captions burned in, and how many clips to ask for.
  4. Upload and generate clips. Cliporium transcribes the video, finds the moments worth cutting, and renders each one - see how Cliporium works for the pipeline.

You only pay for clips that actually get made - see Credits. A video with little worth clipping might make two clips instead of ten, and you are only charged for the two.

What you'll need

  • An email address, to sign up and to confirm your account.
  • A long-form video, as a file (MP4, up to 2GB) or a link to one you have the rights to clip.
  • Nothing else to get your first clips. Connecting a Discord, YouTube, TikTok or Instagram account is only needed once you want Cliporium to post or schedule clips for you - see Connecting accounts.

After your first clips

Once you have clips you like:

  • Download them straight from the dashboard and post them yourself anywhere.
  • Connect an account and schedule them - Discord costs nothing to connect; TikTok, Instagram and YouTube are on paid plans. See Plans.
  • Try faceless reels - built entirely from a brand profile you set up, with no source video needed. See Brands & reels.
