FAQ
The questions that come up most often.
What video formats and sizes are supported?
MP4 files up to 2GB, uploaded directly - or a link to a video hosted elsewhere that you have the rights to clip.
Do I need to own the video I upload?
Yes. Only upload or link to video you have the rights to clip and repost.
Why did my video only make a few clips when I asked for more?
The number you choose is a ceiling, not a promise. A video with fewer strong moments makes fewer clips, and you're only charged for the ones actually made - see Credits.
What happens to my credits if a job fails?
Credits held for a job that fails, or a link that can't be fetched, are returned to your balance automatically.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases - subscriptions and one-off credit packs alike - are not refundable.
Is my video shared, sold, or used to train anything?
No. Your uploads and clips are stored privately under your account and used only to make your clips - see the full privacy policy.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, from the Billing page in your dashboard. Cancelling ends your plan immediately rather than at the end of the billing period.
Does Cliporium post automatically to every platform?
Discord, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube can all post automatically once connected. A platform you haven't connected becomes “ready” at its scheduled time instead, with the file and caption waiting for you to post by hand - see Connecting accounts.
How do I delete my account?
From Settings - see Account & security. It removes everything immediately and can't be undone.
